WHEN DO I NEED A ROADWORTHY CERTIFICATE?

A roadworthy certificate is required in Victoria when transferring vehicle registration from one person or business to another. A typical instance of this might be when a second hand car is either bought or sold. A roadworthy certificate is also required to enable the registration of an unregistered vehicle and can only be issued by workshops registered to do so with Vic Roads. B & R Motors has the necessary registration to enable us to carry out roadworthy certificate inspections and issue a certificate of road-worthiness once a vehicle has passed the relevant criteria.

WHAT IF MY CAR IS NOT ROADWORTHY?

If a vehicle fails to satisfy the criteria of a roadworthy test with us, we are able to provide a list and explanation of what is required to enable your vehicle to pass roadworthy testing.
If required, a quote to repair items (where necessary) can also be provided for you.
